In the video demonstration above, Dan shows you how to utilize the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).     Below are some EFT scripts for depression, anger, and pain.

SCRIPT FOR DEPRESSION:

Begin the tapping process, tapping with two fingers of your dominant hand on the forehead between the eyebrows. While you are tapping, say out loud, “Even though I feel depressed, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

(location 2) "I freely and easily release any and all negative thoughts and emotions attached to my depression."

(location 3) "I allow lots of positive emotions and feelings to flow into the space where the depression used to be."

(location 4) "I easily and completely release this depression out into the universe and I am free."

(location 5) "I allow feelings of happiness, positivy and abundant energy to flow into the space where the depression used to be."

(location 6) "I now freely and easily release any and all negative feelings, negative emotions and negative physical feelings out into the universe, never to return."

(location 7) Grip your wrist and say “Peace."

Remember to calibrate after a round of tapping. Take a deep breath and see how you feel. On a scale of 0 to 10, what number is your level of depression now?

Begin the tapping process, tapping with two fingers of your dominant hand on the forehead between the eyebrows. While you are tapping, say out loud, “Even though I am feeling angry, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

(location 2) "I freely and easily release any and all negative thoughts and emotions attached to my anger."

(location 3) "I allow lots of positive emotions and feelings to flow into the space where the anger used to be."

(location 4) "I easily and completely release this anger out into the universe and I am free."

(location 5) "I allow feelings of calm, relaxation and clear thinking to flow into the space where the anger used to be."

(location 6) "I now freely and easily release any and all negative feelings, negative emotions and negative physical feelings out into the universe, never to return."

(location 7) Grip your wrist and say “Peace."

SCRIPT FOR CHRONIC PAIN:

Begin the tapping process, tapping with two fingers of your dominant hand on the forehead between the eyebrows. Use the word "discomfort" instead of "pain." While you are tapping, say out loud, “Even though I am feeling some discomfort in my (body location), I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

(location 2) "I freely and easily release any and all negative thoughts and emotions attached to my discomfort."

(location 3) "I allow healing and comfort to flow into the space where the discomfort used to be."

(location 4) "I easily and completely release this discomfort out into the universe and I am free."

(location 5) "I allow healing, comfort and relaxation to flow into the space where the discomfort used to be."

(location 6) "I now freely and easily release any and all negative feelings, negative emotions and negative physical sensations out into the universe, never to return."

(location 7) Grip your wrist and say “Peace."

Remember to calibrate after a round of tapping. Take a deep breath and see how you feel. On a scale of 0 to 10, what number is your level of depression now?

Special note for pain: If you tap for pain, the pain may jump to a different location. If that happens, simply “chase the pain” and tap for it in the new location. Eventually you will lock it down and get relief. Remember NOT to use the word “pain” – use the word “discomfort” instead.
